Frequently Asked Questions

General

What is included in the No Worry Home services program?

Our program is a proactive service designed to help you avoid costly repairs to your home by maintaining the key appliances and systems in your home and regularly inspecting your home for potential problems. A technician from No Worry Home will visit your home multiple times per year. Each visit will be individually pre-scheduled with you. During each visit, we will perform all scheduled maintenance tasks for that visit, such as HVAC filter replacement and smoke detector battery replacement, and also perform a whole-home inspection to pre-identify problems such as water leaks or failing equipment. Plus, we'll set aside time during each visit to handle any handyman tasks.  After each visit, we will send you a detailed visit report, which will provide a status report on all appliances, systems and elements of your home, identify any issues we found during the visit, and list our recommended remediation as well as other helpful reminders and suggestions.

Will the first visit include an initial home assessment?

Yes, on our initial visit we will capture the key information about your home that we will keep in our database, such as types and model numbers of your appliances and smoke detectors, so we can arrive for subsequent visits with the proper filters and batteries and any other materials that we may need to perform our services.  Our initial visit will be approximately 4 hours.

How is No Worry Home different than other home care services?

We’re the only home team you need to call. We maintain your home, handle your to-do list, and take care of nearly any repair — plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more. And because caring for your home is the only thing we do…

No Worry Home is a one stop solution for all of the key appliances and systems in your home. We have one business and one business only – caring for your home. That’s all we do, and we are best in class. Nearly all other companies offering home care services do so as a “side business,” often as a way to get lucrative repair and remodeling work from their captive customers. Not us. We will provide you with an honest assessment of your home, and nothing makes us happier than telling our customers that all is in working order and nothing needs to be done!

Does No Worry Home perform repairs?

Yes — for just about anything. Small repairs are part of your handyman service and included in the membership price; and, through our trusted partners, we take care of the bigger jobs too: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, flooring, power washing, even tile installation work (and adding new specialties every month). We don’t leave you to manage it alone — you call us, we get you a quote and we manage the job. One team is accountable for your entire home, so you always know exactly who to call: us.

How does payment work?

No Worry Home is an annual service, billed quarterly. We will charge your credit card on the first day of your first service, and then again every 3 months after that.

How do you train and screen your technicians?

Our technicians all have decades of experience, with backgrounds in home repair, general contracting, inspection, and carpentry (among others). Each technician - indeed, every No Worry Home employee - has successfully passed a national criminal background check prior to joining us.

What is a home concierge service?

A home concierge service acts as a single point of contact for everything your home needs — from routine maintenance to coordinating specialists like electricians or plumbers — so you don't have to manage multiple vendors yourself.

Do I need a house manager?

If you find yourself juggling multiple contractors, forgetting maintenance tasks, or wishing you had one person to call whenever something comes up, a part-time house manager service like No Worry Home can take that coordination off your plate.

How does No Worry Home's home care coordination work?

We maintain formal agreements with trusted specialist partners across trades. When you need something outside routine maintenance or handyman work, you contact us — we schedule the visit, coordinate billing, and stay the point of contact throughout.

Is there a service that handles all my home repairs for me?

Yes — that's the core of No Worry Home's total home care model. Beyond preventative maintenance and handyman services, we coordinate specialist repairs on your behalf so you have one number to call for almost anything your home needs.

What's the difference between a handyman and a home manager?

A handyman typically handles a defined list of repair and maintenance tasks. A home manager (or home concierge) goes further — acting as your ongoing point of contact, coordinating specialists, scheduling, and billing across everything your home needs, not just a fixed task list.

Do you handle plumbing, electrical, or HVAC issues directly?

For most specialty trades, we coordinate with vetted subcontractor partners rather than performing the work ourselves — but you only ever need to contact us. We manage the scheduling, communication, and billing so it feels like one seamless service.

How It Works

How does No Worry Home’s annual maintenance program work?

No Worry Home schedules recurring visits throughout the year to inspect your home, complete preventative maintenance, handle handyman tasks, and provide a detailed report after each visit.

What happens during the first No Worry Home visit?

The first visit includes a comprehensive assessment of the home, including key appliances, systems, detectors, filters, and maintenance needs, so future visits can be tailored to the property.

Do I get a report after each visit?

Yes. After each visit, No Worry Home provides a detailed NWHomeCheck report with findings, completed work, recommendations, and helpful maintenance reminders.

Are filters and batteries included?

Yes. HVAC filters, water filters, smoke detector batteries, carbon monoxide detector batteries, and related routine supplies are included as part of the membership.

Is this only an inspection service?

No — it’s the opposite of a “just point out problems” service. The program combines inspection, preventive maintenance, and handyman work, so we fix what we can on the spot. And anything bigger — plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more — we’ll address with our licensed and vetted partners. We don’t just find problems; we handle them.
